The optician team at Dresden cheerfully replaced, in just a few minutes, my prescription lenses for plano or blank lenses with blue light filter, after I had my cataract surgery, and no longer needed lenses with a prescription to see clearly. I wanted to continue to wear frames with protective lenses while my corneas healed after surgery, against dust, bacteria, drying out, and to prevent me from rubbing them before I realized. They also have very cool in-house new frames, see through with many bold colors. I bought a pair in dark green with plano blank blue light blocking lenses in the Truman Capote style. When no longer having to wear glasses to correct vision, have fun with them. Great experience- none of the bigger glasses shops I called could help me get blank lenses right away, and Dresden did!

She explained to me the endless possibilities with the many colourful frames and endless combinations. It's like playing Lego with my glasses, while being environmentally conscious! As always ordering and getting a new pair of frames is a easy and convenient process, but the staff members particularly Andrea and Rofeeqah is what made everything perfect. They went above and beyond to help me track down my glasses after they were lost in Canadas Post mail. Once they finally arrived, they made sure I was completely satisfied with everything. I've been coming to Dresden Vision in Little Italy for over 4 years, and I honestly can't recommend them enough. Their frames are made from recycled plastic, so they're incredibly lightweight and comfortable to wear all day. They're also probably the most affordable glasses you'll find in Toronto without sacrificing quality. The staff are always friendly, welcoming, and never pushy. The eye doctors are knowledgeable, patient, and take the time to answer any questions you have. One of the best parts is the turnaround time - if you have a straightforward prescription, they can often have your glasses ready in just 10–15 minutes, which is amazing. Great prices, sustainable products, excellent service, and super fast. I wouldn't go anywhere else for my glasses. Highly recommend!
I was skeptical about these glasses. I have a complex prescription and most online glasses give me headaches. These ones don't. Also I didn't like the inital color I chose. Dresden replaced them super quickly. I like these so much that I went and purchased prescription sunglasses for the summer. 100% recommend! And I'm a fussy glasses user!
I can see clearly! And ethically - wearing sustainable glasses made from recycled and recyclable materials - with mix and match frames & arms and a 10 year warranty on frames. Swiss technology, Australian made frames. High-end lenses! Plus ... I had a fabulous eye exam on-site (the most detailed and comprehensive one I have had to date) and billed directly to my insurance. 3 pairs of prescription glasses - all progressives. One with blue light filter for the many hours I spend on my computer (emerald green frame); one pair of sunglasses (deep purple frame) and my every day pair (cherry red frame with walnut arms). All 3 for a fraction of what I paid for my last ONE pair of glasses!!! I highly recommend Dresden Vision. Exceptional product, exceptional service, exceptional care!
