Conjunctivitis
Conjunctivitis, sometimes referred to as pink-eye, is an infection or inflammation of the conjunctiva, the transparent membrane that lines your eyelid and covers your eyeball’s white section. The most common reason for pink eye is bacterial, viral infection, or allergic reaction. There are a number of different types of conjunctivitis, but the most common one is termed viral strains. Viral strains are most likely to start in one eye and they generally cause watery discharge with lots of tears. After a few days of this effect in one eye, the other eye will also get conjunctivitis. There is a possibility that you will feel a swollen lymph node under your jawbone and/or in front of your ear. Another pink eye issue would be bacterial strains, it usually affects one eye but you may also see it in both eyes. Bacterial strains bring significant pus and mucus to your eye.
