Without doubt the best optical service provider out there. The friendly team have gone out of their way to assist with a replacement fora cracked frame and lens clean at no cost to me. A socially and environmentally conscious business that we are lucky to have in West End! Please support them.

If you’ve ever walked out of a major optical chain wondering if your new glasses were actually made for *your* eyes - go to Dresden Vision at West End instead. I walked in expecting a standard eye test and maybe a pair of glasses. I walked out with the sharpest, most comfortable prescription I’ve had in years - and a reminder that some optometrists still care about getting it *right*. Simon, the optometrist, spent nearly 40 minutes fine tuning my prescription in trial frames until it was perfect. Not “good enough,” not “you’ll get used to it,” but *perfect". Every adjustment was explained, every possibility tested, and I left knowing this wasn’t luck - it was skill, time, and attention to detail. Contrast that with my recent run in at one of the major chains (the one whose acronym begins with 'O' and ends with 'M'): three flawed prescriptions, multiple remakes, weeks of waiting, and a slow erosion of my will to live. Dresden solved in one morning what they couldn’t get right in over a month. Within 30 minutes of leaving the exam, I was wearing my new general purpose glasses. No mysterious delays. No “it’ll be seven to fourteen days” scripted monologue. No awkward back and forth over whether the problem was “just me.” They fit perfectly, vision was razor sharp, and I didn’t need to play the “spot the error” game I’d been forced into elsewhere. I also ordered sunglasses and readers. The right lenses weren’t in stock that morning, but they’ll be ready in just a few days - still faster than the "express" service at the major chain. And here’s the best part: for *three* pairs of glasses, I paid less than a quarter of what that major chain charged me - for the same assortment of products and a botched prescription. Similar quality of lenses, similar coatings, 10 year warranty on the frames, and zero hard sell. The two ladies out front (names sadly forgotten) were warm, efficient, and knew their stuff. Not once did I feel like they were working through a sales script

Excellent service from the lovely ladies at Dresden today. Jules was very sweet and promptly fixed my glasses slipping down, due to my nose bridge being too low. Both Jules and the supervisor were very polite and attentive to my needs today, I felt at ease with their presence. The customer service lady (Bess?) over the phone was really lovely too and explained everything thoroughly regarding what to do with my glasses not fitting initially. She made everything very simple to follow and assured me that the process would be simple. Overall, I am very impressed with Dresden as a company. I appreciate their environmentally conscious efforts by using recycled plastic as their frames, whilst keeping their prices very affordable at the same time! I also love how you can easily mix and match arms and frames without the hassle of paying another pair of glasses, it feels like playing with LEGO sometimes! Their customer service is fantastic too, they genuinely care about your needs versus the rushed process with brick and mortar stores (specsavers I'm looking at you!). I have already purchased an extra three frames on top of my original two, since I just cannot resist their wonderful colour variety! You have won me over, and I cannot wait to return someday! Simon Lan has been our family’s trusted optometrist for years. We all go to him for eye care because he is incredibly professional, attentive, and thorough. When my husband experienced a retinal detachment, Simon was extremely careful with his examinations and follow-ups, which gave us great reassurance during a very stressful time. His expertise and genuine care made a huge difference in managing the situation. I have brought about 7 pairs of prescription glasses and 2 pairs of sunglasses in all different colours. Thier shade range is awesome. I love colourful glasses. The prices are great. I love to wear different colours at work. Everyone comments saying they are so cool. I will buy more soon as I want more colours 😂😄😄😁

Great glasses and excellent service. Highly recommend. I've discovered Dresden glasses 4 years ago and love them. They are sturdy, easy to clean and I love the colours. The optometrist and store at West End in Brisbane is really great. Professional, friendly and prompt service. Even if you end up getting a frame frame from a different place, I would recommend the place for doing your eye tests.

100% recommend Dresden Vision West End for your glasses needs! I'm a Canadian that was visiting the area for an international event. I needed another pair of glasses made quickly and without being able to attend the store! Their website and staff helped match me with a frame that looked like my lost pair. They then rush ordered them and mailed them to me at my location. After returning to Canada, they received my prescription with a blue filter (which was my original request) and so connected with me so that I could have them mailed to me. I LOVE that my frames are printed with "Made in Australia". They are lightweight and look great! I also have never seen glasses before with such an easy way to exchange arm colours. Huge thanks to Dresden Vision Customer Service who worked with me and the store to get my glasses to me. THANK YOU!

It takes me 1 hour one way from home to the store, it turns out to be worthwhile. Very happy with the thorough eye examination and new glasses.
