Crystalline lens, in another name the lens of the eye, is considered to be an important part of your eye. The lens allows your eye to focus on objects at any distance. The lens is located behind the iris and it has a size which is approximately around 10 mm across and 4 mm from front to back in adults.
There are different lens types such as concave lens, which is a thinner lens and it makes the light rays that go through the lens to spread apart. Convex lens is thicker and it is also called converging lenses while it makes the eye focus on a point.
