Ally Xue

PhD candidate in Ophthalmology

I’m a therapeutically endorsed optometrist with experience working in corporate practices across New Zealand and Australia. After submitting my PhD thesis in Ophthalmology, I work as a clinical researcher at the University of Auckland, specialising in dry eye disease. In addition to general optometry, I’m interested in helping patients troubleshoot soft contact lens wear discomfort and ocular allergies (itchy eyes).

Melody Ong

Optometrist — BOptom

I am a therapeutically registered Optometrist who has recently graduated from the University of Auckland. As part of my training I have visited different parts of the North Island, namely Hamilton and Whakatane to be mentored by Senior Optometrists in the field. I am very excited to bring my skill-set and passion for Optometry to Dresden. My current areas of interest lie mainly in primary based eye care. To date, I have been involved in many voluntary screening initiatives at primary schools and more notably at the Special Olympics in Wellington 2017.
